ATA is an external fxs and SIP client, I have fxs module but I failed to get it working, when I call the fxs sfr the phone rings once and when I pick it up I hear some kind of noise, given that I have connected D power cable to the tdm400 card

I'm not if I understand Eng. Sabah's suggestion, but I think he meant
to buy a normal cordless phone (Panasonic) and hook it to the FXS
port.
