Yet they demand a country with Electronic government that mimics Singapore, an economical icon in the gulf, a new era that extends to Silk City?

Wallah 3aib........AFIC the idea is not hard to implement for they have the structure level. this is very essential since a fiber optic is devouring the whole country now.

Borashed initiatives like MENOG.net took place in Kuwait and no one was
interested to even sponsor except Wataniya (because QTEL sponsored the
one in Qatar i believe) and they are so active and try to spread the
awareness of such in the region.

and in regards why experts doesn't talk about out i think its just
about time that they ill, things are getting clearer and people with
influence started o recognize this. if not 2010 , early 2011

Bo 3abdallah, what cuts me deeply is some GCC countries
already placing the bricks for IPv6, can you imagine that? can you
compare it to "7elwat el leban" Kuwait?

If for argument's sake there is some national peering network done by
MOC or KISR or KUNIV....how come its not publicly easily obtainable?
not to mention yet propagated and spread allover the web.

I'm a hobbyist when it come to IT and technology but how come this was
left unattended or even discussed (ath3af al Eman) by the experts?
someone clue me in because i feel this country becoming Alibaba's cave.

no thats why kems was out of the
local peering for pretty good time and
it used to go all the way to UK and back to qualitynet although they
all terminate few floors away in tech building

Thank you Mohannad,

You saying that this is upon request and not based on a pre-designed or
planned and maintained peering network? if that's a true fact then hand
of corruption have reached our IT sector. :)

                    Salam Faisal,

Every ISP in Kuwait has it's own local peering with other ISPs, it's
like an unwritten agreement between providers so that local
networks/sites would be reachable without having to go through
international links -applies for most of the local traffic, but not all
of them- so if you can be specific of what kinda of peering you are
looking for i think i can help, you can coordinate with your provider
to advertise your traffic through other ISPs the way you want it, but
again it depends on what your requirements are :)

best Regards

Mohannad A.k

                            Salam everyone,

Any of you gents or ladies know a source of info to obtain a solid and
reliable data regarding Kuwait's national inet topology? or any peering
info between ISPs or national/governmental network nodes or
data-centers?

Appreciate it in advance
