[General] Unix - for beginners

Salam All,

I hope some one could help me with this, a friend of mine wants to learn
Unix, and he asked me about for resource that could help him to start
working on, so if any one can provide me with some basic resources -books or
technical approachs - to help any "wana be" unix admins.
