[General] VoIP For Home Usage

Its amazing how you two reached and covered all this massive available archive of Linux VoIP, you put my humble wit to a dark shame. :)

You can just install Asterisk and FreePBX in a single box using any distro you like, but obviously, it will take you time and effort. Have any of you gents tried AsteriskNOW? http://www.asterisknow.org/  similar to TrixBox easy GUI. Its slowly developed but worth a try indeed.

As for Trixbox's security issues, it is stated in the ToS that the company (Fonality) can do this even with third party scripts/add-ons. Thats why im using an old release which they no longer support.

It dates back to December 2007, and trixbox might have got its act
back together, but I'm not gonna risk it.

In the mean time, it seems like it's PBX in a Flash for me.
