There were problems with some applications with ext4 filesystem. The
reported problems were due to the application's dependency on how the
filesystem writes the changes.

The issue that came up with ext4 rendered all changes to be lost with
that specific application.

They may have fixed it, but I suggest you stick to ext3 for the time being.
