[General] Thinkpad X300 vs. Macbook Air

I did a full spec discet on these two hot boxes ... I wouldn't buy any
for a few reasons:
1) Lenovo X300 has solid state harddisk ONLY. SSDs aren't good for a
machine that you intent to keep over 2 years. The disk will wear out
quickly, if you're a heavy [ab]user.
2) I'm not a fan of Apple/Mac and their MacBook Air is quite crippled:
One USB, No internal CD/DVD, battery is soldered & can't be swapped
out, no built-in Ethernet port, but it does offer the option to have a
PATA (IDE) hard disk.

By the way, SSD-based laptop are expensive. Price estimation was

The IBM X series of laptops are small, and there are previous models
that make more sense to be an option more than the X300.
