I have been using Safari on Windows since it was first released, and it 
does support all the plugins you could ever want.

As for ACID, I recently did the tests and the following are my findings:

Browsers that pass the test:

Firefox 3 beta revision 5 (Firefox 2 fails -- respectable effort)
Internet Explorer 8 (also beta) (Internet Explorer 7 fails -- badly)
Opera 9.5
Safari 3.1.1 (tested on Windows)
Safari 2.0.4 (tested on OSX running in Windows)
