FireFox 3.0 is out! So, you better try that and see the real difference.

I tried Safar around a month ago, and it crashed on some times (I can't remember).

I've had Safari on Windows for a while. It is fast, it does suffer on some Arabic sites sometimes, and it does not have anti-phishing capabilities so it's not recommended as the default browser at all, even by PayPal. I use it when I want a fresh session for quick tasks. Not bad.

As for ACID test
Safari passes ACID2, got around 75 in ACID3 and an error in LINK message!
Firefox passes ACID2, around 71 in ACID3 with no such error message
