I read an article a while ago regarding SSDs and according to the
writer, he expected the prices of the disks to be reasonable within 5
years. It might be stretch, but I think a period of 2 years is a safe
bet.

Why would you need quad-core for a laptop?
I don't even understand the whole multi-core hype for Desktop
machines... People are idling most of the time, and when working on
stuff, they just need more RAM, not CPU power.
It kinda works for me, since I run VMware Server on my workstation,
but I still don't see why your average joe/moe would go for one (even
dual core laptops).

I hope manufacturers would focus on making the prices of DDR3 RAM as
reasonable as possible. DDR3 has been out for quite a while, but is
facing slow adoption due to its high price.

If you've got the money to burn, you'd want an SSD equipped laptop,
with a 1333MHz RAM bus!

I didnt' know Nokia has WiMAX on its tablet... But are Thinkpads using
the same WiMAX chipset?

And regarding my T43: Yes, it's the one with the bright screen. It
looks great even when the sun is shining on the screen! And you gotta
love the magnesium body and the metal hinges.
