[General] New Thinkpad Laptops

Weird .. I thought the new T series boxes are all Core 2 Duo equipped.
Surely the ones at work are (T61, T60p)
Those SSD ones are gonna be WAY TOO expensive!!! I don't think it's
worth the money, yet.

I doubt WiMAX & GPS are gonna work on Linux, unless the GPS chip is a
well-known one (Sirf3, for example, used by Garmin and others). But
you can always Dual boot, with 320GB of disk space :D

I hope they're gonna take the shape of the new Lenovo laptops. They're
plastic-ish and look ... well .. not IBM! Who wouldn't love the rigid,
solid body?!! ;)

Thanks Burhan for the heads up! I'm gonna stick to my T43 for now...
