Interesting. So, IBM has moved away from RedHat's Fedora to Ubuntu for
desktops. I guess they made the right choice, as Fedora has a 6-month
only life-cycle, and isn't as stable as Ubuntu.

I don't know why IBM offers Symphony for free, while its capabilities
are the same as OpenOffice.org ... Perhaps to migrate people to their
platform & eventually convince customers of *seamless* integration?
