[General] Microsoft offers $44.6B for Yahoo

Dude, employees aren't the ones I'm worried about; Google would be
more than happy to pick them up. What I worry about is the Open-Source
E-Mail service Yahoo! acquired: Zimbra.

If the acquisition goes through, Zimbra would surely be shot dead
since it competes with Exchange on the SMB market (Small & Medium
Businesses).

As Burhan said, MS is after the ad pages like geocities & online shops
(Yahoo! online shops are used on ebay as well). Another thing MS would
benefit from is the existing user-base of emails, yahoo-groups, flickr
and other services Yahoo! offers.
