Yes, we are to be (partially) blamed.

We could've done what the FireFox fans in New York did: They raised
funds to put an AD in front page of a newspaper.

But our case is better, we have the support of many companies and
organizations to fight for standards; decent standards!

I have direct contacts with IBM-Kuwait and The Society of Engineers -
Computer Section, IEEE - Kuwait Section and Kuwait Student Chapter and
ACM - Kuwait Student Chapter.

A lot of companies in Kuwait are switching to Linux on the server
side, from both Unix and Windows (Unix to reduce cost, and windows
because it's just crap). Now is the time to spread knowledge about the
desktop side. Why should you put up with what Microsoft thinks is
right? You have an alternative; You have OpenOffice.org

I suggest we call in a meeting and put a plan for this. We're running
out of time, as the final call is on Feb. 2008.
