[General] Kuwait Linux User Group & Kuwait OpenSource Community @ KITS Meeting

Salam Alaykom All,

Kuwait Linux User Group (KLUG) and Kuwait OpenSource Community (OSKW) @
Kuwait Information Technology Society (KITS) invite you for the weekly
meeting every Wednesday after Isha Prayer. Next meeting will be in
24-01-2007.

Note I (Updated):

   - Please, vote for the day/time of next meetings (By coming to the
   meeting or sending to the mailing list).
   - We need an organizer for the non-weekend (Weekday) meeting whose
   task is to send a reminder to the mailing list, update the contact list with
   new joiners, make arrangements with KITS, try to be the earlier person to
   come to the meeting .. elc... If you are interested (probably one of those
   who voted for the non-weekend day), please let us know.
   - The meeting day will be changed as soon as someone volunteers to be
   the meeting organizer for the non-weekend day.

Abu Hayyan Al-Tawhidi Street - Street 37 - House 20

If you need help with the directions feel free to call.

The groups discuss various open source related topics including:

   - Operating Systems: Linux, Unix, and FreeBSD.
   - Programming Languages: PHP, Python, Bash, and Perl.
   - Database Management Systems (DBMS): MySQL and Postgre.

Note II:
To apply for KITS, bring the following:

   - Your certifications (University, Diploma or any IT certifications).
   - Your IT related job experience.
   - Your ID.
   - Photos (I forgot how many)
   - Fill the application form.
   - 10 KD yearly frees.

I might have forgot something, so please call KITS @ (965) 252-9303/4 for
application requirements.
