Dear signatory of the <NO>OOXML petition,

I am urgently looking for people to be active against OOXML in some Arabic
countries.

For this purpose, I have created a discussion list to discuss the issue for
countries like Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Lybia, Oam, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait,
Iraq, Qatar, Sudan, Syria.

If you available to help, please let me know.

The most urgent thing to do is to contact your Standardisation Body in your
country (see the list here: http://www.noooxml.org/delegations) and ask them
if they will participate on the vote on Office OpenXML or ISO DIS 29500,
where
the deadline is on 2nd September.

We have rumors that Microsoft has already convinced Egypt to vote Yes for
their shitty standard, and we are afraid that it is the case in other
countries.
