Salaam All and welcome to the list :)


As this the first message to the list i would like to welcome the 
community to Kuwait OpenSource (group/community/society) which concern 
in OpenSource matters and we have the following resources available:

1) mailing lists http://mail.oskw.org/mailman/listinfo/ running mailman

2) forums http://oskw.org/forum running simple machines forum

3) portal http://oskw.org running joomla

4) weekly meetings every Wednesday after Isha prayer @ Kuwait 
Information Technology Society (Rodha - Block 3 - Abu Hayyat Al-Tawhidi 
Street - Street 37 - House 20) Thanks for Abdulaziz Al-Asfour :)


The only mailing list that has subscribers is general at oskw the rest 
doesn't and we might need to use them till general@ gets busy, but only 
time can tell.


in short in the next few days/weeks the volunteers going to 
build/organize/maintain the resources we have above, so if you wish to 
give a hand just feel free to drop the list an email and you'll be 
granted an access.


Please invite your friends/colleagues whom into the field to benefit 
themselves and the community.
